Ishtar’s Horde is a philosophical, political and practical nexus to enable men, the genderwild and others to behave towards women appropriately, and to serve ecological society. To train with the Horde, as a man, is to gradually relinquish all identity except that of service, to the manifesto of the Horde, to Nature, and to ecological society. The oppression of women and Nature have gone hand in hand for millennia, and the Horde will help undo this.

Be ‘anarcho’ in some way; be against capitalism, against the state, against entrenched and rigid hierarchies, including cultural hierarchies such as patriarchy and kyriarchy. Be for democracy, for Life and for a genuinely ecological human society. Study and practise to these ends. As it is hard to stop a pendulum directly mid-swing, so it is unrealistic for us to expect a perfect transition in global culture, from male dominance to gender equality, from nation states to a stateless society. Instead, in the inevitable eco-crisis driven turbulence that the biosphere, including humanity, is increasingly undergoing, we can expect to see pockets of extreme patriarchy, extreme matriarchy, and everything in between around the globe. Amongst this turbulence, it is the role of The Horde to promote female leadership in every sphere of human society, and to positively discriminate against cis men to this end. Ishtar’s Horde is only one response to the global crisis in gendered power relations. On one level The Horde is a controlled subculture of powerful psychomagic which is liberating for and ultimately respectful of both men and women, and moreover all other gender identifications including the genderwild. It is a subtle consideration that every Horde member must contemplate and practise the paradox of observing the imperative of female leadership, whilst also observing point 1) of the manifesto above. Make no mistake that Ishtar’s Horde is, at this moment of history, by necessity a subculture of female supremacy.Abolish the Pornography Industrial Complex, and study deeply the nature of this complex.The eroticism of Ishtar’s Horde. If you are a cis heterosexual (ish) male, or a pansexual, bisexual or heterosexual (ish) genderwild biological male still tending towards male gender expression, then without the assistance of any image except the images in your own mind, you must supplant ideas of women as sluts, with wild and liberatory conceptions, visual and otherwise. (You yourself are an auto-erotic slut, a living pornography within yourself. Consider it. From this consideration you may engage sexually with women.) If your sexual partner (of the moment, or of your life) wants you to take control in an encounter, she / they will let you know. Ishtar’s Horde is explicitly against the fashion victimisation, pornographication and crassness of most ‘femdom’ and ‘BDSM’, but nevertheless can draw some erotic power from elements of these subcultures. Non-monogamous applications of this eroticism are also possible, if consciously destructive of patriarchy. Being a slut is no excuse for you not to practise love, empathy and kindness on levels approaching the revolutionary. Moreover, the greatest challenge of this eroticism is to uncover and express the socio-erotic and its resistance power. This power exists in various non-hierarchical elements in human culture, including artistic, but in a way that is completely divorced from the pornographication of culture. Towards an open, democratic, and openly erotic society. The liberatory socio-erotic is a nebulous concept; it is hard to pin down. Nevertheless, we commit to the practice of its development.The Horde is only suitable for those hardcore men, women and others who see the validity in the beauty of a certain level of consciously chosen sacrifice in the modern cis male (or masculine other-identifying) as directed by women (or feminine / Queer others) who carry within them the suffering of generations of oppressed women and Queer folk, as well as a clear understanding of the principles of Ishtar’s Horde. This is further to state that the cis-hetero / hetero / masculine bi / masculine pan men of Ishtar’s Horde must be in some way militant activists on behalf of the Horde. For now, this is for them to work out. Later, a training programme may be offered. There will be no shame in displaying some traditionally ‘masculine’ gendered qualities, temporarily and in context, if in the service of the highly organised destruction of patriarchy.
